Don't Rock My Boat

Second to last weekend with the entire group. Say whaaaat?

It seems like yesterday I was having a goodbye party thrown by the best friends I could ever ask for.
Just yesterday that I was boarding the plane for the 24 hour travel day
Just yesterday that I was experiencing all the firsts of Thailand.

Last time I checked, I did not give this summer permission to go this fast.

This next week will be full of packing, stocking up on last minute presents, massages, thai food, homework, and goodbyes... but I choose not to think about that last one.

Although the time I have left is short, I go home with no regrets. Not a second wasted, not a mango sticky rice meal denied, not one time to look back on and think...I didn't do anything Thai today. And we are still livin it up to the very end.

This weekend included a boat house, umm maybe more of a wood house on water, a raft house?

It was one of the best weekends to date. Full of swimming, card games, relaxing, and chattin it up with the people i've grown to love these last three months.

Swimmin

The best part of swimming was the various games we played. Acting out a jail break, football 4th down, James Bond, rock star, first kiss, Ke$sha,  plus more while falling just makes for one humiliatingly hilarious game.

The BEST game in my opinion was glow in the dark spoons. A must do in my book. I brought glow sticks to give to little kids up at the hill tribes but I didn't ever have the opportunity to so umm...we got good use out of them. We stuck them in water bottles to float then threw them in the lake. We played spoons then had to jump in the water to get the water bottle instead of a spoon. Dangerous, exhausting, and nerve racking for some reason. But definitely one of my highlights.

Boat back to land
success jessica and andrew. probably my favorite pic from the weekend...except for the nice little surprises on my camera...ha!

And there ya have it. A night on a boat, umm raft in Thailand. Good company, good BBQ food, good sites, good good weekend!
