Bottoms Up

Sometimes I'm all for fads.

I see something, it convinces me it is the greatest thing, then I jump in head first.

This last week we were up in Park City soaking up the adventure, friends, family, and FOOD. We ate SO MUCH FOOD. So this fad seems to be coming at a good time.

Jonathan and I randomly watched a documentary called "Hungry for Change" on netflix the other day. It talked about how we eat poorly and all that jazz I already know. But then they talked about juicing. I LOVE smoothies, but I've never known much about squeezing the life out of fruits and veggies until all the nutrients are in a nice little juice.

After that one documentary I was convinced.

I'm going to be a juicer.

I spent the rest of the day looking up the best juicers, how you juice, juicing cleanses, pretty much anything and everything about juicing. Including one more documentary called "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead." Watch it if you think i'm crazy. By the end of the show you'll join me in the juicing club I just know it.

By the end of the night, Jonathan and I had gone to Williams Sonoma (with the last of the wedding gift cards) to invest (and I mean INVEST cause those things aren't cheap!) in a juicer.

Now that our juicer arrived and we are back from vacation...LET THE JUICING BEGIN!!

For the next 10 days I am going to drink juice. And only juice. All fruits and veggies squished into this little drink. Wish me luck! I don't know what to expect, I think (from my research) it is going to be hard for the first few days, then i'll feel great. I'll get back all the energy i've been lacking and feel good. Even Jonathan is joining me for the first three days!

So here we go! I'll try to document it on here (for my sake, and maybe someone elses that's crazy enough to just drink things for 10 days!)

The fridge is stocked.

The juicer is set up.

And tomorrow is the day!

Bottoms up!!
